Last month there was an "economic expert" on the radio saying that the monetary crisis we're looking at right now couldn't possibly be as bad as the Great Depression, because the Great Depression had 25% unemployment, and, gosh, we aren't experiencing anything like that now. I just want to throw things at my poor radio when I hear stupidity like that. We didn't have 25% unemployment when the Stock Market crashed in 1929, we had it during the worst part of the Depression a few years later. 25% was as BAD AS IT GOT. Of course we don't have that right this minute, but that's proof to this moron that we're not in real trouble.
