Joshua finishes chess camp today. He has really enjoyed it.
We worked like maniacs in the yard yesterday. It hadn't rained in three whole days, so things were dry enough to deal with, and it was predicted to rain again, so we were on a deadline. Whew!
Little Jack-Jack has flown the nest. She went outside all day for three days but always found one of us in the late afternoon and came in the house with us for the night, then on the fourth day she didn't come back. She could very well be hanging around nearby, but she is such a bland little brown bird one can't see her when she holds still. I'm glad that with all the handling she got she never really tamed down. She always wanted to be outside in the trees with the other birds rather than with us.
